JOE RUCK PAINTINGS & SCULPTURE
Artwork by Joe Ruck
I paint primarily with a brayer. The brayer, commonly called a roller is traditionally used to mix inks for relief printing. But I have found it makes a wonderful painting tool that allows me to lay in large blocks of color creating a bold impressionistic style.
Be sure to view the Demonstration where a step-by-step tutorial explains the process of this technique.
Most of the artwork featured on this site is painted with a brayer, but please take a moment to explore the sculptures and drawings as well. New art is added on a regular basis.
